Angus Gordon Twaits enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 24 on the 19th of March 1917. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was Married, and was employed as a Watchmaker. He volunteered and was stationed with the Australian Infantry Forces, Reinforcement later transferring to the Australian Flying Corps with the Regimental number 1791. He was discharged and Returned to Australia due to a Fratured Spine on the 21st of December 1917. Tree number 2923.
