Born in Ballarat, Cameron Sherring Loader was a single 30 year old farmer at the time of his enlistment in Ararat, Victoria on the 22nd of March 1917. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A60 Aeneas on the 30th of October 1917.
Cameron returned to Australia on the 10th of March 1919, and was discharged as medically unfit on the 2nd of April 1919, his debility not being stated.
