James Joseph Graham, a cook by trade, was a single 38 year old when he enlisted on the 14th of August 1917. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A55 Kyarra on the 7th of September 1917.
He was invalided and returned to Australia on the 5th of February 1919 and was discharged on the 28th of April 1919 as medically unfit due to asthma.
