Biography

Fred William Titheridge was born in Ballarat, Victoria, was married to Victoria Titheridge of 105 Railway Place, North Williamstown, Victoria and was a Skilled Labourer when he enlisted with the July 1917 Reinforcements on 18 April 1917 at the age of 23. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A71 Nestor on 21 November 1917. He was admitted to the Government Hospital in Suez for pleurisy before boarding the Hospital Transport Ship Ulysses for return to Australia on 15 February 1918, receiving a medical discharge on 26 September 1918.
