Biography

Roderick MacLeod Dunn (SN 2246) born in Ballarat, was a 19 year old clerk when he enlisted at Ballarat on June 15th 1917. He joined the Australian Flying Corps at Laverton and trained as an air mechanic. He embarked from Melbourne aboard the Aeneas on October 30th and sailed to England where he served as an air mechanic 2nd class until the war ended. He returned home on the Kaiser-i-Hind, disembarked at Melbourne on June 16th 1919 and was discharged on July 9th.
