Biography

Edwin Thomas Prosser was born in Wolverhampton, England and was an Aviator living in Ballarat when he enlisted in the July 1917 Reinforcements on 12 July 1917 at the age of 22. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A60 Aeneas on 30 October 1917. Aside from two issues of being absent without leave (for which he was admonished and forfeited several days' pay) he completed his tour of service without major incident, illness or injury, receiving his final discharge on 15 April 1919.
