Biography

George Dowson was born in Butterknole, England was married and was employed as a Miner. He enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 39. He volunteered and was stationed with the 2nd Tunnelling Company with the Regimental number 8187. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 24th of December 1918. Tree number 3030.
