Biography

Born in Ballarat, Alexander Hugh Henderson was a single 19 year old salesman at the time of his enlistment on the 6th of November 1917. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A38 Ulysses on the 22nd of December 1917.
Alexander returned to Australia on the 19th of August 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 11th of September 1919.
