Martin Francis O'Farrell enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 24 on the 29th of December 1916. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as an Farmer. He volunteered and was stationed with the 49th Battery of the 13th Brigade with the Regimental number 34140. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 19th of February 1919. Tree number 3087.
