Biography

Born in Preston, England, Ernest George Harrison was a single 37 year old shearer at the time of his enlistment on the 22nd of March 1916. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A30 Borda on the 17th of October 1916.
On the 23rd of January 1918, Ernest was invalided to the U.K. due to trench fever. He returned to Australia on the 15th of January 1919 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 8th of March 1919.
