Biography

Hector Herald Tudor, a motor driver from Ballarat South, enlisted in the 3rd Divisional Supply Column on 28 February 1916 at the age of 19. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A19 Afric on 5 June 1916. He spent a short time in hospital for *Pleurodynia on 26 August 1916, and later with pneumonia on 14 September 1918. He received his final discharge and returned to Australia 21 December 1918.
