Biography

Frank Theodore Mitchell (SN 61307) born in Creswick, was a married 45 year old miner when he enlisted in Ballarat on February 9th 1917. Due to a persistent cough, he found the training difficult, and consequently he was discharged on March 9th as ’medically unfit, fibrosis of the lungs’. His condition attributed to his time as a miner. He served for 25 days.
