Edward Theophilus Fisher was born in Ballarat, but enlisted on 24th March 1915, from Ravensthorpe, WA, when he was 43 years old, unmarried and a mine owner. He joined the 16th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 2213. He was killed in action at Gallipoli on ath August 1915, and his name is on the Lone Pine Memorial.
