Russell Aubrey Raine enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria, at the age of 19 on the 26th of March 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria was single, and was employed as a Clerk. He volunteered and was stationed with the 22nd Battalion, 3rd Reinforcement later transferring to the 58th Battalion with the Regimental number 1947. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 31st March 1919. Tree No. 3209.
