Henry Frederick Roy Linsdell was born at Ballarat and in later life became a Clerk. At the age of 21 and single he enlisted from Ballarat on 2 August 1915. He embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A38 Ulysses on 27 October 1915. He was promoted to Lance Corporal on 22/12/17. He received a GSW to the head 19/5/18. Rejoined unit 7/6/18, received GSW to the lower jaw 8/8/18. Returned to Australia 3 March 1919. Tree No. 3227
