Allan Campbell was born at Clunes just North of Ballarat. He became a Dentist, was single and at the age of 19 enlisted from Ballarat West, 26 January 1915. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A32 Themistocles on 28 January 1916. He was wounded in action on 19/7/16, 30/11/16, then rejoined his unit on the 29/12/16. He was promoted to Lance Corporal in France on 10/4/17. Another promotion came whilst in France to Lance Sergeant on 15/9/18. He Returned to Australia 15 January 1919. Tree No. . 3229
