George Norman Sartori was born in Ballarat, was single and a Printer by trade. At the age of 23 he enlisted in Melbourne on the 26th June 1915. His Unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board RMS Mooltan on 11 December 1915. He was admitted to hospital on several occassions from 1/2/16, ranging from Influenza, Trench Fever, Dyspepsia, Pyrexia. Returned to duty on 12/9/17. On the 20/10/18 was re-admitted to hospital suffering from Appendicitis. Returned to Australia 7 February 1919. Tree No. 3233.
