Biography

Philip Robert Murray (SN 7763) was born in Ballarat but enlisted in Liverpool NSW on July 1st 1915. He was 21 years old, single and working as a draper. He joined the 8th Australian Field Ambulance and embarked in November. On September 24th 1917 he was killed in action at Polygon Wood, and is buried in Menin Road South Military Cemetery, Belgium.
