Thomas Allan enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria, at the age of 28 on the 24th of July 1915. He had been born in Glasgow, Scotland, was single, and was employed as a Plumber. He volunteered and was stationed with the 4th Field Artillery Brigade, 10th Battery with the Regimental number 6435. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 27th April 1919.
