Biography

Thomas Ellis Eustice enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria, at the age of 21 on the 6th of July 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria was single, and was employed as a Draper. He volunteered and was stationed with the 8th Infantry Brigade Train later transferring to the 18th Australian Army Service Corps with the Regimental number 7979. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 21st of March 1919.

Lucas’s Staffs Appreciation of Brave Men, the original Avenue register, records his name as Thomas Eustace.
