Biography

George Ronald Watkins was born in Learmonth, Victoria, he was single and at the time of enlistment was employed as a Gasfitter. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 21. He volunteered and was stationed with the 8th Battalion, 14th Reinforcement with the Regimental number 4614. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 14th of January 1917. Tree number 3299.
