Biography

Edmund Thomas Charles Williams was born in Daylesford, but enlisted from Ballarat on 6th November 1914. He was 26, single and a labourer. He joined the 7th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 1443. On the 8th of August he was killed in action at Gallipoli. His name is on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli, Turkey.
