Born in Kyneton, Victoria, Leslie Clarence Lambert was a single 19 year old jeweller at the time of his enlistment on the 7th of November 1914. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A46 Clan Macgillivray on the 2nd of February 1915.
Leslie returned to Australia on the 17th of July 1915, and was discharged as medically unfit on the 20th of October 1915.
