Biography

Eric Louden MacLeod enlisted as a Lieutenant at the age of 25 on the 1st of April 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria was single, and was employed as a Company Director. He volunteered and was stationed with the 23rd Battalion, 12th Reinforcmement. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 27th of October 1916.

Lucas’s Staffs Appreciation of Brave Men, the original Avenue register, records his name as Eric L. McLeod.
