Biography

Born in Ballarat, Richard Edward Neal was a single 42 year old labourer at the time of his enlistment on the 26th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A38 Ulysses on the 20th of February 1916.
Richard returned to Australia on the 12th of June 1918, and was discharged as medically unfit on the 19th of July 1918.
