Biography

Mary Ellen Killeen (Sister) born in Ballarat, trained as a nurse at the Ballarat Base Hospital. Aged 29 she joined the Australian Army Nursing Service (Home Service) in May 1917. Her service was at the Caulfield Military Hospital, Melbourne.
