Reginald James Crick (SN V78194) was an 18 year old photographer from Church Street in Ballarat when, with the consent of his mother Bridget, he enlisted on July 10th 1917. He served as an Air Mechanic 2nd Class with the Australia Flying Corps at Laverton but, as the war was drawing to a close, he did not leave Australia. He was discharged on Christmas Eve 1918.
