Stanley William (SN8212) born at Wagga Wagga, was a 23 year old student when he enlisted in Melbourne on July 13th 1915. Assigned to the 2nd Australian General Hospital he embarked aboard the Port Lincoln on October 18th. At the end of December while in Egypt he was transferred to the 1st Light Horse Field Ambulance.
He returned to Australia aboard the Berrima and disembarked om February 17th 1919 and discharged on April 4th.
