Biography

Elliott David Osmond Mitchell enlisted in Hamilton, Victoria at the age of 20 on the 21st of February 1916. He had been born in Glenthompson, Victoria was single, and was employed as a Farm Labourer. He volunteered and was stationed with the 29th Battalion, 7th Reinforcement later transferring to the 32nd Battalion with the Regimental number 3269. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 9th of January 1920.
