Biography

Alexander Lloyd was born in Ballarat, but enlisted from Yea, where he was a bootmaker, on 25th October 1916. He was 27 years old, and single. He was accepted into the 59th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 3184A. He was killed in action during the fighting around Villers-Bretonneux on 25th April 1918, and is buried in the Crucifix Corner Cemetery, Villers-Bretonneux, France.
