Biography

Born in Ballarat, Thomas O'Keane was a single 21 year old labourer when he enlisted in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia on the 17th of May 1917. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A34 Persic on the 21st of March 1918.
Thomas returned to Australia on the 11th of September 1919 and was discharged on the 4th of October 1919 due to the termination of his enlistment period.
