Henry Heath Draper (SN 20328) was born at Bendigo and was a married 32 year old builder when he enlisted in Melbourne on May 26th 1917. He embarked aboard the Nestor on November 21st and sailed to England. In July 1918 he crossed to France to serve with the 1st and 3rd Division Signals Companies. He served out the final months of the war without significant incident although in early 1919 he accidentally fractured a collarbone. He returned to Australia on the Wiltshire, disembarked at Melbourne on August 19th 1919 and was discharged a month later on September 19th.
