Biography

Born in Bendigo, Victoria, Charles Daniel Hick was a married 40 year old farmer at the time of his enlistment in Toowoomba, Queensland on the 15th of February 1918. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board RMS Ormonde on the 7th of March 1918.
On the 12th of August 1918, Charles was taken on strength with the 58th Battalion.
He returned to Australia on the 10th of September 1919 and was discharged on the 10th of October 1919 due to the termination of his enlistment period.
