Biography

Roy Clifford Bosher was born in Ballarat and was a Baker by trade when he enlisted in the 2nd General (Victorian) Reinforcements on 3 December 1917 at the age of 18. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A14 Euripides on 1 May 1918. He spent the final months of the war in England, but soon after the Armistice he was transferred to the 2nd General Services Reinforcements in France. He returned to Australia on the Argyllshire, disembarking at Melbourne on September 22nd 1919. He died in April 1927 at the age of 27.
