William Thomas Watts was born in Sebastopol, Victoria, he was single and at the time of enlistment was employed as a Motor Driver. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 20. He volunteered and was stationed with the Australian Flying Corps, 1918 Reinforcement later transferring to the 3rd Motor Transport Company with the Regimental number 3336. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 1st of August 1919. Tree number 3544.
