Edmund Hall Stevens was born in Sebastapol and was a grocer there when he enlisted on 27th March 1918. He was 19 and single. He was posted to the 22nd Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 51453. On 27th March 1918 he was killed in action in Estrees village, and buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guoy, France
