Biography

Keith Arnold Stephenson (Capt.) was Geelong born but was a 23 year old, married, medical practitioner when he enlisted on March 25th 1918. Assigned the rank of captain with the Australian Army Medical Corps he embarked aboard the Port Sydney on August 17th and disembarked at Suez on September 19th. With the war drawing to an end, he remained in Egypt. After hostilities ceased, he was transferred for a time to the 5th Light Horse Field Ambulance before returning aboard the Dongola, on medical duty, disembarking in Melbourne on August 25th 1919. He also enlisted during World War 2.
