Biography

Keith Arnold Stephenson was born in Geelong, Victoria, was married to Mrs. Florence Mabel Stephenson and was a Medical practitioner when he enlisted with the Medical Officers Corps on 25 March 1918 at the age of 23. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board SS Carpentaria on 7 November 1918 and disembarking at Suez on 19 September 1918. By this time the war had all but come to a close with the armistice being signed in November. He completed his service without major incident, illness or injury, returning home to Australia on 24 July 1919.
