Biography

Herbert Ernest Wearne was born in Linton, Victoria, he was married and at the time of enlistment was employed as a Shunter. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 33. He volunteered and was stationed with the 3rd Light Railway Field Company with the Regimental number 3160. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 12th of December 1919. Tree number 3605.
