Biography

Allan Clark (SN 61836) born in Ballarat, was an 18 year old butcher when he enlisted in Ballarat on April 16th 1918. With the 13th General Service Reinforcements, he embarked from Melbourne aboard the Zealandia on October 5th but the war had ended by the time he disembarked in England. He served with the 2nd Field Ambulance until he returned to Australia aboard the Friedrichsruh, embarked at Melbourne on March 9th 1920 and was discharged on April 1st.
