Biography

Reginald Allan Grant (SN 55615) born at Ballarat was a 22 year old labourer when he enlisted at Ballarat on April 22nd 1918 . With the 7th General Service Reinforcements, he embarked aboard the Marathon on July 23rd and sailed to London. Soon after arrival he was allotted to the 7th Infantry Battalion. He was deployed briefly to France after the Armistice was signed but then he returned to Australia aboard the Suevic, disembarked at Melbourne on September 10th 1919 and was discharged on September 25th.
