Thomas James Dinsdale (16215) born in Ballarat was a 33 year old tailor when he enlisted in Melbourne on November 14th 1917. He previously had served several years with the Home Guard. His unit embarked from Sydney aboard the Euripides on May 1st 1918. He reached England in early July 1918 and served with the Australian Service Corps until his return to Australia aboard the Karoa in May 1919 and was later discharged ‘medically unfit: debility’ on May 23rd. He also served (SN V13667) during World War 2.
