Biography

Born in Egerton, Victoria, Francis Patrick Grady was a 19 year old chemist's assistant at the time of his enlistment in Ballarat on the 17th of May 1918. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A37 Barambah on the 31st of August 1918.
On January 21st 1919 he was transferred from the 5th Battalion to Australian Army Medical Corps Details.
Francis returned to Australia on November 27th 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 12th of December 1919.
