Biography

John Cameron McNab (SN 79045) born at Ballarat, was an 18 year old collector when he enlisted at Ballarat on July 1st 1918 . With the 16th General Service Reinforcements, he embarked aboard the Carpentaria on November 7th but with the Armistice coming into effect just four days later, the Reinforcements were trans-shipped to the Riverina, disembarked at Melbourne on November 28th and he was discharged on December 24th.
