Biography

Evelyn Charles Chicheley Tucker was born in Ballarat and was a Student when, with the written consent of his parents, enlisted in the 17th General (Victorian) Reinforcements on 6 August 1918 at the age of 18. His unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A7 Medic on 2 November 1918, but with the signing of the Armistice nine days later the Medic was recalled and he disembarked on December 12th.
