Biography

Born in Ballarat, Victoria and a fitter by trade, Herbert Robert Burritt was 27 years and single when enlisted on the 13th of August 1918 in the July 1918 Reinforcements, Australian Imperial Force, with the rank of Private, Number 3194. His Unit embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia, on board HMAT A36 'Boonah' on the 29th of October 1918 and was listed as No details of fate entered on Nominal Roll. Discharged 3rd Military District with the Termination of Period of Enlistment on the 1st of February 1919. Tree No. 3682
