Biography

Born in Ballarat, Harold Gordon was a single 24 year old hospital attendant at the time of his enlistment in Melbourne, Victoria on the 10th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Adelaide, South Australia, on board HMAT A40 Ceramic on the 23rd of November 1915.
On the 12th of June 1917, Harold was wounded in action. He was invalided to the U.K and admitted to hospital on the 2nd of July 1917 suffering from gunshot wounds to his right hand and left foot.
Harold returned to Australia on the 13th of February 1918, ad was discharged due to his wounds on the 23rd of August 1918.
