John 'Jack' McKay enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 31 on the 4th of April 1914. He had been born in Ararat, Victoria was single, and was employed as a Chemist's Storeman. He volunteered and was stationed with the 6th Australian Field Ambulance with the Regimental number 17637. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 23rd of June 1919. Tree number 3698.
