Norman Crosbie Nicoll was born in Ballarat but enlisted from Euroa on 27th March 1916. He was a baker, 23 years old and single. He was sent to the 37th Infantry Battalion , with Regimental No. 651. He was killed in action near Passchendaele on 12th October 1917, and his name is on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
