Biography

Alfred Ernest Tucker was born in Ballarat but enlisted from Woollahra, NSW, as a master builder on 29th May 1916. He was 34 years old and married. He was posted to the 24th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 6175. On 5th October 1917 he was killed at Broodseinde . His name is on Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
