Biography

Born in Durham Lead, Victoria, James Henry McBain was a single 23 year old carter at the time of his enlistment in Ballarat on the 14th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A14 Euripides on the 4th of April 1916.
James returned to Australia on the 17th of July 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 31st of August 1918.
